So jealous of Melissa, that she got to hang out at the Everlane pop-up shop in NYC. She sent me these pictures, I’ll take one of everything please. That weekender bag is looking better and better every time I see it.

Instead of visiting me in NYC, my parents decided to take a trip home to Nicaragua and visit family. To make it up to me, they brought me these handmade cloth and leather sandals that I can’t seem to take off my feet. I love how playful and fun these are with their bright colors! I’ve been wearing them with everything I have, from summer dresses to just jeans and a tee. They’re so comfortable.

There’s nothing like the feeling of finding the perfect shift dress for the summer. I was browsing around J.Crew after work and after trying this gem on, I knew it belonged with me. I love wearing it to everything, from picnics in the park, to flea markets, or immersing myself in the Met.

Philip and I (mostly just me) lucky enough to get to see the Schiaparelli and Prada exhibit while we were there. It was enchanting. If you’re in the city and have some free time, I’d definitely recommend stopping by.

Melissa came into town this past weekend for a quick visit with me! While I was stuck in the office on Sunday, she had her fun with some of our buddies and went to see what was new over at Raleigh Denim. Jealous.

Our friends Evan and Taylor picked up some jeans, as well as Melissa, too! I’m so proud of them all, making the switch to awesome raw denim. I’ll let Melissa tell you about hers soon.

More good stuff coming out of Everlane! They just released “The Weekender”, which seems perfect for weekend trips out of town (genius!). Just might be making it’s way to my closet soon.
