About Us
His + Hers is an outlet where Philip and Melissa cover daily topics on their personal tastes in men’s and women’s style.
Him
Philip H. Mancuso is a Downtown Raleigh, NC resident via Massachusetts, lover of the simple things in life, and part-time musician. As far as his taste in menswear, he likes to keep it classic and tailored but as comfortable as possible. The perfect day-in-day-out outfit for him is his Raleigh Denim jeans, an oxford button down, a pair of worn brown brogues, and one of his super comfy jackets. He’s a television, movie, and music nut as well, so you can talk his ear off about that any time. Philip’s favorite foods are anything prepared hibachi style, anything he cooks himself on the grill, and Thomas’ Corn Toaster Cakes or “Corn Toasties” as he likes to call them. He’s very passionate about life, puts his all into everything he does, and likes that effort to show in his work. Check out his music on the web! He has two projects currently in the works: solo acoustic folk music under his name, Philip H. Mancuso, and a raw blues/rock duo with his good friend Taylor, Detective Miles.

Her
Melissa Alexandra Paniagua is a journalism student with a focus in public relations at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill. In the fall of 2011, she was lucky enough to intern for Southern Weddings Magazine where she was inspired every day by the lovely ladies she worked with. In her dress she likes to convey wit and playful sophistication, paying attention to the quality of the garment and opting for pieces that pay homage to timeless fashions. Her perfect outfit would be a cable knit sweater and penny loafers, paired with her jeans or a light skirt. For the summertime, Melissa’s go-to is her soft chambray work shirt. She has an appreciation for all things innovative, artful, and well designed, loves to throw dinner parties, and could happily live off tea and macaroons. Melissa is a firm believer that a little bit of magic can take you a long way.
